Useful applications of technology

Here’s a lovely story about the use of modern day technology to track, monitor and hopefully save the endangered Maui’s Dolphin in New Zealand. The Maui Dolphin is a subspecies of the (also rare) Hectors Dolphin which I swam with in Akaroa, off the coast of Christchurch. You could see the dolphins surging in with the waves and before you knew it they’d passed within a meter of you – spectacular.
I can only hope that I’ll be able to deploy some of my own ideas for such a good cause.
