In January I dragged myself and Hilary from Ireland, the best place in the world to live, to England, the 29th on the list. Damn!

Of course, Ireland still has plenty of problems, and those living in Dublin probably don’t think it’s the best place in the world, but now I feel I can moan justifiably about living in the UK. Or, I could just try and get a job back in Ireland — except, of course, that jobs don’t grow on trees over there like they used to.
