PhD students don’t get business cards. To be honest, we don’t really need them. But, if you’re attending a conference or workshop it can be useful to have something to give people. StreetCards provide lovely cards, easily customisable (although you can’t freely design your card) for a fairly respectable £8 for 25 cards. The cards are a proper business card size (I hate those oversize ones which won’t fit in a wallet) and they are printed double-sided. Here’s my current card (notice there’s no mention of Southampton… the great thing about producing your own card is that you have complete control over the content).
