Just make them up like in the "Real World".

In engineering I've spent time doing this analysis. Initially it looked promising; I got results.

But then I started trying to validate it and couldn't. So I started tweaking my model and hit the wall. No matter what I did I couldn't validate it.

So I give in an start writing a report stating that the analysis had failed.

However, since this is the "Real world" it's simply not possible to spend all that time and get nothing out of it so I've been told to re-write my report so it includes results. Even though I can't validate those results. Stupid.

So there you go, it doesn't matter. Just make stuff up and quote it against a confidence value of 0%
